Bob C1. My son's first hit. He is a big strapping lefty and in the third game of his first season where they pitch to each other (no T-ball or Coach pitch) he smacked a double up the middle. He didn't like baseball all that much and was struggling. I was (am) a proud dad. I still have the ball.
2. 1988 World Series Game 1. Gibson's Bottom of the 9th Walk Off Homer to win the game for LA. I was in RF bleachers. Crowd stayed for 45 minutes afterwards. LA fans NEVER do that. Dodgers were the dogs and went on to win the series.
3. 2002 World Series Game 6. Angels were behind & the TEAM put up three runs in the eigth to win the game 6-5. I was in LF field level seats. After a couple of beers I was giving Barry Bonds, who was in ear-shot, a bad time. Nothing too bad, just kept yelling at him he was a roid-head... Angels were the dogs then too and went on to win Game 7 and the series. What I like is that year they did it with teamwork and did not rely on prima donna franchise players.
