Default FS: 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth BVG SOLD

Offering this Ruth at a very fair price. $4650 shipped net to me via PayPal. The price FIRM. I would offer a $100 discount for Zelle payment.

You would be hard-pressed to find this eye appeal at this price point. This card is NOT trimmed. It was removed from a scrapbook at some point and has some glue residue on the back as a well as the stamp in the upper left corner of the back. There is a minor crease in the upper right corner which is visible when held at the right angle.

The “altered” designation comes from the fact that in the process of removing from scrapbook, there was a little bit of paper loss, which someone reattached. It’s basically a small area around the “LE” of “Big League”chewing gum towards the bottom of the card. Then someone used a pen to color the H and E in “Chewing Gum”. Really should have been left alone and this would have graded a 1. Not that I’m recommending it but you could easily undo the alteration and you’d have a 1, which in the minds of some would be an upgrade. Whatever your feelings, the fact is this is an incredible eye appeal card that is NOT trimmed.

PLEASE NOTE…not interested in trades. Can provide N54 references if that makes you more comfortable, many successful deals here.
