Any bets on whether any of those are actually clean and haven't been altered in some way?

i have been away for a week (i'm in Hong Kong & the Philippines), so i have been so out of the loop regarding the internet, Net54, etc.

just some facts for you guys Re: PSA 10 T206's...

there are 13, as was mentioned. one gentleman owns 10 of them, and there are 3 other collectors that each owns one. (i used to own the Pastorious, which is now in different hands)...

i doubt you will see any of them posted, i know all of the owners and they are very private.

you'll have better luck getting scans of 9's.

MVS

Michael- one guy has ten 10's! That is extraordinary.

I'm pretty certain I know who it is, but mum's the word.

I wonder how many have been graded recently..There was one in the Goodwin Auction this year for Jim Pastorius and it looked to be in a earlier holder..the card had nice colors and corners but was clearly off centered..but got a "10" for eye appeal.

Most of the 10's out there and at least a large percentage of the PSA 9's were not altered, they were from the Southern Cards find in 1990. Go back and check your old SCD's and the listings featuring the cards from that find and then compare that list to the 9's and 10's in existence -- they match up very favorably. I feel pretty confident that five of the PSA 9 Walter johnson portraits came from that batch. There were 5 of them that were all MINT. This was pregrading days and Southern sold many of the Hall of Famers at 10-15x guide. That's how nice they were.

Somewhere in the back room I have the original list and every card that was in that find. But from memory when I look at the list of PSA 9's and 10's that are out there -- I go yep -- that card was in the find.
