Default R317 pricing help?

Posted By: Shawn

I have the oppurtunity to buy an R317 which I've found at a small shop. It is Cronin and not graded. I would put it in the SGC 30 range. Color is blue/purple. Can anyone help in a good ball park price on this? Just seems so few of these have sold lately that trying to pinpoint could get me in trouble.

Also any additional help on finding out more about these would be terriific. From talking to one person the green's are the toughest color to come by, is there a price premium for those? What about the hardest card period to get in the set?

Thanks in advance

Shawn

All 30's aren't created equally but that being said I would say an estimate would be $400-$550......green would command a small premium (possibly) and I have only seen a few of the Ruth cards.....and he is far and away the most valuable. I am not aware of any being a lot rarer than the others.....all of them are scarce....

I really like this set. The Frisch should be on the way thanks to a trade with a board member.
