Default Sandy koufax custom figurine

I saw on the Net54 forum the other day that a member was selling some Koufax items, including a sighed Salvino figurine. I had wanted for years a more accurate version similar to the McFarlane statues, but none were available. I found a sports artist/sculptor and he created this one for me. I was so enthralled with the way it came out I had a second one made that I sent TO Sandy Koufax for himself. He very courteously sent me a Thank You card, a treasured item.

what an awesome story and a GREAT improvement on the original. Amazing job. I like to look at mine everyday.

Hopefully, Sandy signed the Thank you note for you? My only negative observation is that the Koufax signature on the "photo" in the background is not real, unfortunately.

Here's the Thank You card.
What's cool is that he signed it 'Sandy', which to me was more personal than if it he signed it 'Sandy Koufax'.

As far as the signature on the picture behind the figure, I obtained that picture because it had the centerfield stands at Dodger Stadium as a backdrop and I display the figurine in front of it as though he was pitching in the Stadium. I have several of his autographs, so it's not an issue.
