Default opinions on tatoo orbit averill

Hi all,

I won a tatoo orbit averill on ebay recently http://www.ebay.com/itm/EARL-AVERILL...vip=true&rt=nc

Admittedly I didn't study the listing or photo before I bid. When I put it next to my only other tatoo it is obviously trimmed at a minimum. I was about to put it up for sale on BST, but after close comparison I now think it is probably a reprint as well.

the actual printed portion of the front is smaller than my other orbit and the finish is slightly glossy.

Any tatoo orbit fans out there wanna verify for me? reprint, or do orbits come glossy and with smaller prints

Thanks!

Tony

The aging on the card looks a bit manufactured to me. I am not familiar enough with tatoo orbit cards to comment on your particular concerns, but glancing at the wear on the card just looks a bit off.

It's a reprint. I got stuck with one years ago, a Lefty Grove.

Leon,

I contacted the seller and told him I thought it was a reprint. He said "oh sorry I found it in a shed and thought it was real". I'm chuckling even as I type that.

Anyway I sent it back to him Monday. We'll see if he refunds. I don't see any indications that he wont.

It's just a few bucks I should have know something was up when I got it for low $.

Love the buttercreams. By the way what is the card stock like on buttercreams? Cardboard-ish, or Paper-ish ?

Thanks for asking about the Averill.
