Derek Jeter tire kicking
I collected Jeter cards in the mid-late 90s and acquired some pretty nice ones. I really enjoyed it, and as a Yanks fan it was a lot of fun during those World Series years.
I am solely a vintage collector and don't have any UV (aside from Jeter). I gave all my other stuff to some family friends' kids. But, it is fun to look at Jeter cards for me. And I am seeing lots from the 90s and early 2000s of players like Ripken, Bagwell, Thomas, Griffey, etc. for sale with 100s of cards going for a fraction of what they cost back in the day. Serial numbers, die cuts, refractors, flashy stuff that was much sought after seem to be given away now do to the vast amount of printing. That being said, would anyone have something similar for Jeter? I know pretty much nothing about their current value as most of my experience with them was when they were popular cards and carried some weight. I thought it might be fun to buy a large lot and relive the glory days.

Funny you should ask...
I have an absolutely massive lot of Jeter cards in 3 separate binders that I've had in-hand for a few months now. Absolutely everything in there. It was collected by an avid local collector here in Columbus Ohio, and I've been helping his wife deal with liquidating a the larger collection.
I've been struggling to decide the best way to disperse it. Would certainly be open to a bulk sell. Around 10+ copies each of the rookies (no SP's), I'd estimate. I can take some pics at some point, if desired.

Here are some initial pics of the Jeter collection. 3 binders with about 150 pages full between them, with many pockets 2+ cards deep. Collector was compulsive about condition apparently, as binders look very good. There is an additional box full of top loaders with many copies of the rookies (no SP's), and serial numbered inserts. Pretty cool stuff. I suppose the breakup value is indeed high. The sort of thing you could set up at a show and would sell itself over time, I'd imagine. IMG_3548.jpg IMG_3549.jpg .
