Default Mishmash for sale: 1920s-1950 Exhibits, R310, R316

Posted By: Tim Newcomb

Scans available on request. Prices are postpaid. I’ll split insurance with you on the higher-ticket items. Most of these will go on Ebay if not sold here, but I wanted to give my Net 54 pals first crack.

R310 Butterfinger
18 different, including 9 HOFers all for $175
--Contains Holley, Spohrer, Haas, Crowder, Frey, Carroll, Grabowski, Berger, Suhr
HOFers: Cochrane, Harris, Ott, Lloyd Waner, Hafey, Dickey, Manush, Gehringer, Gomez
--Condition ranges from Fair to VG or better. Most of the really damaged ones are commons. A couple are attached to cardboard-like backing.
--I would prefer to sell as a lot, but if you are interested in a HOFer or two, let me know and I’ll scan them--

R316 Kashin Phil Todt (SGC 40– strong VG). $195
Todt is one of the four very scarce cards in the set. I believe that early on in the distribution, one card was removed from each of the four series, and a Babe Ruth card inserted in every box. This means that Ruth Kashins are almost 4 times as common as ordinary players. Conversely, these four players are REALLY hard to find. SGC has never given a Todt card a higher grade– only 2 have been graded --both are 40s.

1927 Exhibits Eugene Hargrave VG $10
1927 Exhibits Virgil Barnes VG $10
1927 Exhibits Phil Todt EX $12
1927 Exhibits John Ogden F-G $6
All 4 for $30

1931 Cubs Team set –
(beautiful oversized sepia photos)
Bob Smith VG-EX $15

1935 Wheaties Series 1 Berger VG-EX $10

1950 Remar Bread Charlie Dressen VG+ with one light corner crease $7
