Default Knowledge is key, E90-2 blank back

I recently bought this on ebay as an E90-2 blank back in Fr-Pr condition, in raw form...Not a bad pickup for $61....Anyone else have any great deals to show, that were misidentified?

Nice pickup Leon! Although I think we need to have some further conversation on those.

Back to the thread. A couple of years ago I bought a E98 Cobb PSA graded that was really an E94 Cobb. Thanks PSA!

Leon - more scarce then finding that card, is finding a card that a seller UNDER-graded.

Not really misidentified but I picked this up last night on ebay with no mention of the fact that it actually pictures Black Sox member Lefty Williams. My snipe was set for many multiples of what it ended for and just figured I would get outbid.

Nice catch Leon, I will now call you "Leon the Ebay Zen Meister"...

Here is a T206 Beckley I picked up last week on eBay for $49.95. I was the only bidder and as Ted Z. will tell you, Beckley cards should have a red background (this one is orange).

Lovely Day...

nice pickup.
i've had fun getting a couple of these 'error'/switcheroo cards recently.
i got the High D328(which is the real fella with the right color stockings!) and the Boston Store Judge incorrect(really Morgan) and am going to frame them together.

best,
barry

Rob, too funny! I also bought a raw red E98 Cobb which turned out to be a red E94 Cobb and resides in an SGC 40 holder now. I bought it in a two card group in a Leland auction. I shudder to think what I would have to pay for it now 6 years later.
