Default Cards that could have been

Like another of others I like to make my own cards on occasion. Some of you have probably seen these before on other boards, but thought I would share here as well. I'm a life long Cardinals fan so the cards tend to be a little Cardinals heavy.

For what it's worth I like your '63 Rose much better than the real one.

There is several years of Topps Musials that you could fill in. Great work. The '64 Stand Up is of a real stand up guy!

Wow, that's quite a run of series games! Biggest game I've been to was opening day at the new Busch.

Here are a few non-Cardinals, sorry but a few are pre-war. The 41 feller and 52 Rogers look a little funny, but they are my first attempts at colorizing B&W photos.

My favorites are the 1957 Musial and the 1971 Perez. They both look like the "real thing". It's too bad they didn't actually make that 57 Musial!

Heritage Addict took two cuts that I had of Musial and Boyer and created these. Couldn't be more pleased.

'52 Topps Custom Musial Cut

'52 Topps Custom Boyer Cut

Great work! You have a very good eye for capturing the details of card design, typography, and image quality for the era. I dabble in these as well and the guys on here might like to see a few examples...

I don't have the talent to do these, but I'd love to see a 1977 Dick Allen with the A's.

That 1980 Munson is amazing. If only Topps had thought of that...if you ever figure out a way to print one of those up, I'd gladly take one...my first baseball hero as a kid.

Big Six... The Munson actually was printed as a promo for a regional card show in New England... most of the cards I've made have been offset printed on real card stock.

PM me if you are interested.

Default Funny on the 59 Wills

He signed some cards for the 2008 Topps Heritage Update product, so there is a legit "59" Topps Maury Wills issued by Topps

Great cards everyone! These are truly amazing.
Here's a few i'd like to see:
1974 Fred Lynn, Jim Rice, Bill Madlock (not the 4/1 little card)
1969 Bill Lee, Roger Maris, Jim Bouton
1952 and 1953 Bowman Ted Williams

Thanks to everyone for posting these fun cards.

Default A New Custom "Cut"

A new custom "Cut" commissioned from Heritage Addict. A Topps '69 Ted Simmons Rookie that never was with a cut from a 3x5. Thanks HA.

edit: Sorry, my scanning skills leave a lot to be desired. Card looks great.

Awesome work guys. Would love to see what you would do with a 1961 Clemente dice game or 1959 Clemente Bazooka.

Haven't posted anything new in awhile, HOF basketball player/coach Bill Sharman, he was in the Dodgers minor league system for 5 years. Colors are a bit off because I had to colorize a b&w image.
