Default Help with photo ID (Eddie Hahn White Sox)

I have interest in collecting anything pertaining to Eddie Hahn because he is from my hometown of Nevada Ohio. I recently came across this photo and was wondering if anyone who is good at photo ID could give me thier opinion. All I know about the photo is that it was taken by the Dwight Art Co. of Dwight Ill. It does appear that the Dwight Art Company would have been an active business during and after Ed Hahn's playing years, and the fact that Dwight Ill is fairly close to Chicago gives me hope that it is him. Any help or opinions would be appriciated! Thanks in advance, Joel

I saw that photo for sale and thought maybe it was him. Upon further inspection, such as looking at his team photos and individual photos I felt less confident that it is Ed Hahn from the White Sox. Please note that I have zero expertise and I hope that it does turn out to be him.

Absolutely totally bogus. The ear shape is different and Hahn has an attached earlobe, that of the faux-Hahn is detached. Also strong chin vs. weak chin.

Just plain old Ed Hahn b. 1868 in Illinois son of a German immigrant. He lived in Dwight, IL

Yes, finally looking at this on ebay - there was no claim that this guy was a ballplayer - hence there was nothing bogus about it.

Joel,

You might want to see if a descendant is interested in this. You can go to Rootsweb or Ancestry and find family trees with this Ed Hahn included. Family photos of ancestors are priceless to anyone remotely interested in genealogy. I can help if needed.
