Default Edison NJ -Card Show

I was thinking about attending the Card Show in Edison NJ This Weekend. Has Anyone here ever been to this show. Any Pre-War tables?

My understanding is that this is the first time they've done this show.

Love of the Game will be set up right in the front of the room. Stop by, chat, bring the kids for free packs of cards, and check out some of the material we've already got lined up for our next auction.

Best,
-Al

Is this show through CSA? They do a good job, I went a few years ago and was pleased with it. There is pre-war to be had there

This show is through Rich Altman. I thought the CSA show a few years ago was pretty good as well. Hopefully Rich will have some success with this show. I planning to be there either Friday or Saturday.

Went to the show for a couple of hours this afternoon. I really did have money burning a hole on my pocket but couldn't bring myself to overpay for stuff I can by on our BST or on eBay for much less. Did enjoy meeting and talking to Al from LOTG, a very nice guy. Saw a lot of great stuff that will be in his upcoming auction. Also spoke to a dealer who showed me pictures of a "new to the hobby" T206 Wagner that he is helping a customer to sell. I won't mention his name because he is shopping for an auction house. A very decent looking card, probably a 1.5 if I had to guess. Had a nice time though I didn't buy anything.

Not too much foot traffic when I was there, but it was early. From about 3:30 until 5. There are a decent amount of tables at the show. Even though I didn't get anything, I'd say it was worth the trip.

I was able to get over to the show this evening as well. Foot traffic was light, many of the same dealers as KOP and White Plains. Had a great time talking with Al. Other than picking up my LOTG winnings, didn't find anything else to purchase (thankfully!). Hopefully the rest of the weekend has a better turn out so the show will continue.

I was there from 430-515. Talked some with Al C. and a couple of other dealers. Fewer dealers than I hoped and typical high show prices. Did pick up a 35 Goudey and a couple of Bowmans but came home with cash. But it is less than 10 minutes from my front door, so I had to go.

I'm here right now! Foot traffic looks good and plenty of solid dealers. I am pleasantly surprised. I'll post a couple pics when I can

Default Edison Show

Went on Sat afternoon for a few hours. Had a lot of Good Dealers that I met at the last few White Plains Show. Had a Great time. I picked up a raw T206 Piedmont Titus for $25.00 and gave it to SGC for grading . I hope they continue having this show . Only 15 min from my house.

I am visiting my son here in NJ and just left the show. Empty parking lot and not many people there. Had a good time but didn't find and real bargains mostly bought 50s and 60s non sports cards I needed for my sets.
