Default T5 Pinkertons....

These sure look nice in the SGC holders (even without green borders). Here are 2 newly added to my personal collection, or as the young collectors say, my "PC". The other 2 shown recently have been sold, for anyone wondering. Any one else have any T5s to show?

Default T5

Leon,

So you're the one who bought them from the ebay seller.

I contacted him about the Cobb, but he told me he wasn't going to sell it. He was going to have it graded, and then send it to an auction co.

Nice card!!

Tony

Hey, me too!

Should have thrown out some $ numbers and been more convincing. Very nice pickups, Cobb is amazing.

I'm about to crash out for a while, Leon, but I will definitely check these out a little later in the morning once I've gotten some shut eye. I know you were excited to get these, and I want to give them my full attention. Congratulations!

Default Still P.O'd

That they did not pop in my search i have saved, da*# Ebay. It is the only set i collect with no real intention of ever selling. Everything else I have is usually negotiable. Beautiful Cards Leon. I am not a fan of the bigger SGC holders though. I have some scans at work, I will try to get them up on monday.

I like those, Leon. I like them a lot.

I only see a few of these currently listed on Ebay. Are they considered scare?

Yes, I feel they are in the "scarce" category. Until now I didn't have a T5 Cabinet as I hadn't found one I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I can't complain about the ones shown and even though the Cobb has a pinhole it's not too distracting. Now I guess I need a pseudo sport card a T6, to complete my T card run. I haven't really ever looked for one but saw them listed on OldCardboard..... The chase is a lot of the fun!!

Also, there is a sister set with the same poses, known as W530. Some of them have scorecard backs and some are blank. I am not sure where the "W530" designation came from....

Default T5's

These are definitely in the scarce category. For how those obtained them back in the day and their withstanding of time, few survived. Wouldn't let these go for anything...

WOW!!!! Pete, very nice.
I had Blair of the New York team and Jack Coombs of the A's at one time. They are now at new homes.
