Default Ten Million Discovery

Sometimes the best pickup is something you already own, but didn't realize it.

I'm spending the holiday week working on a computerized inventory of my baseball collection and I came across this. I picked up this 1912 Sioux City panorama years ago just because I liked its look. I guess I never looked close enough, as I just noticed that it includes hobby/Obak collector favorite Ten Million.

If anyone else has a Ten Million photo, please post away!

Greg

Default Ten

Great panoramic photo, Greg.

Here's Ten on his Seattle High School baseball team, bottom row, far right. Future Brooklyn Robins pitcher Charlie Schmutz is in the top row, far left.

There are a bunch more images of Ten in this piece we posted in 2011:

Great photo, Greg. It reminds me of one of our members who has a postcard of the Mascot in Series 7 of T210 and it's cool too. This is the kind of stuff that makes collecting fun. Nice Ten, Ted. And David, great and exhaustive research as always. Thanks for sharing gentlemen.
