antique boys bat help
Hi guys. I picked up this boys bat over the weekend and have tried to research what company or how old with no luck. I can read Boys, and it looks like Stand (standard?) and No. B or 8?. It looks quite old. any help would be great and if there is any interest feel free to pm me. Thanks

Did you try using the negative image of it? I do that sometimes and it picks up the letters a lot better.

Sean, Thank you, very cool trick and fun to use. Here are the pics. Definitely
No. B. Cant tell if the word is standard or study, also can see the outline oval of the mark. |

Looks just like my spalding NoB indoor baseball bat (known as softball now) including the electrical tape wrapped around the handle it is more narrow than regular bat
