Any thoughts on this uncataloged pin being new to the hobby would be appreciated (& guess as to final ebay hammer price).

Thanks,
Pete

There are some things that are so scarce that "uncatalogued" means very little in way of value. There are still numerous 19th century cards that are unknown as of now and will eventually be known. Same thing with some rare 20th century sets...Unless you find a person collecting the whole set my guess is it would only bring $100-$300 more than a common that is catalogued.....again, just a guess, since no one responded and I know a little about pricing on some other cards with a similar circumstance...regards

I would suspect that an uncatalogued one would bring HUGE money unless you find two people who REALLY want it. Prices on Cameos are ALL over the board. The person who bought mine from REA auction has listed 2-3 of them on ebay and they've brought about $200 less per pin than the person who bought them paid for them. Mastronet had an uncatalogued one about a year or so ago and it went for about $1800 but it was gem-BU MINT condition with fantastic photo clarity. If this one brings $600, I'd be surprised.......

can you post a link......no, I'm not going to bid. Just curious. Like JC.....I can't find it.....not good posting......

Did you mean to say it "will" bring huge money? I was looking for your thoughts as I know you have handled many of these before, or at least have tracked them more than most...best regards

$400-$600 range. Sorry for my incoherent ramblings.....I'm prone to it until all 24 ounces of coffee are downed......
