Here is a pic that I just pulled out of a lot. I am able to identify Feller, Greenberg (I think) and Cochrane. Who else can you find?

I see Mickey Cochrane in the 1st row (leftmost) and I was looking for Bill Dickey (who joined the Navy
along with Cochrane)....but, I don't see him.

Nice photo....which one is Greenberg ?

Default 1942 Service All-Stars

Interesting photo. It was taken in the Polo Grounds during the regular All-Star break. The winner of the AL/NL game played the Service All-Stars led by Mickey Cochrane in a charity game the next day. The service stars won 5-0. I have seen one program for this game but there are many pictures (if you do a search). My grandfather, a MP in the Pacific and a pretty good ballplayer was in attendance (although not as a player) and used to talk about this game a bunch.
