Default Boardwalk and Baseball Cards... Anyone Else Have Any???

Posted By: Brad Green

There used to be a park in Florida (near Orlando, as I recall) called Boardwalk and Baseball. Does anyone else remember this park? Did anyone else go to the park and have a baseball card made? If you did and if you can find the card, I think it would be fun to see some of them.

Mine is below. It was made in the early 1980's. Look at those awesome statistics on the back. Too bad I don't look happy about my great statistics...

Holy smokes, that's alot of solo HR's. You must have batted below .100 with runners on base.

Brad, according to the RBI's you werent really a clutch player, hitting mostly solo homers.

I also went there around 1989.Dont remember much about it except the softball batting cages and the place wasnt that crowded. The Royals used to hold their spring training there and for a couple years had a rookie league team there

You guys are too funny! I was probably between 10 and 12 years old at the time. About all I knew was that Hank Aaron had 755 career home runs and I wanted to have more than him! The other statistics I made up. At least I was smart enough (or someone that worked there was smart enough) to know that I had to have more RBI's than home runs.
