Artvue type 2
With Artvue type 2 coming out in 1956 there should be signed examples out there of the following players. has anyone seen any (just Artvue type 2) and if you could post that would be even better
Home Run baker Fred Clarke Ty Cobb Tom Connolly Dizzy Dean Jimmy Foxx Mel Ott Tris Speaker Dazzy vance Bobby Wallace Ed Walsh possibly Connie Mack and Al Simmons Ive seen them on type 1 artvue but not type 2. Please lmk Last edited by theshleps; 05-22-2024 at 12:26 PM.

How long was this series in production? So much better looking than the yellow ones, IMO.

type 2 was 1956 to 1963 (baseball bolts in corners)
type 1 artvue was 1953 to 1955 (open bolt holes) Albertype type 1 1944-45 cooperstown N.Y. (N.Y. isn't spelled out) Albertype type 2 1946-52 Cooperstown, New York

I guess what I wonder is alot of these guys were around for quite a few years after Artvue type 2 came out and I see an awful lot more signed type 1 and not type 2 and wonder why.
