Default FS: Huge Collection of Baseball Cards 1976-2012 - big price drop!

I have a large collection that I am considering unloading. It will be stars only except for in the sets and near sets. Looking for $7,500 shipped. Pick it up for only $7,000.

10 (5000 ct. boxes) of HOFers from Aaron to Yount (all 1976 – 2012)
- There is probably more like 40,000 cards in the boxes because many are in penny sleeves.
- I have an influx of guys like Gwynn, Sandberg, Ryan, Ripken, Puckett, etc.
- All cards are in alphabetical order and each player is in order from earliest card to latest card

17 (3000 ct. boxes) of Stars not in the HOF, at least not yet in many cases
- Almost every card is in sleeves, so maybe we shoot for more like 2,000 cards per box, and I may have to do some condensing in order to not have boxes that are not completely full. So maybe 20,000 Stars?
- Cards are in alphabetical order by player, BUT not in order by years yet like the HOFers
- Stars would include Canseco, Clemens, Cox, Garciaparra, Glavine (several hundred of his RCs), Griffey (MANY of him), Guerrero, Halladay, Helton, Hodges, Hoffman, Ichiro, Bo Jackson, Jeter (several hundred), Johnson, Jones, Kent, Konerko, LaRussa, Lee, Maddux, Maris, Martin, Edgar Martinez, Pedro Martinez, Matsui, Mattingly, McGuire, Munson, Mussina, Ortiz, Palmeiro, Piazza, Posada, Pujols, Raines, Ramirez, AROD, Rivera, Rollins, Rose, Sabathia, Santana, Schilling, Sheffield, Smoltz, Sosa, Thomas, Thome, Torre, Utley, Verlander, Vizquel, Weaver, Wright, Youkilis.
-Would include parallels, inserts, RCs, etc.

6,000 (roughly) parallels that are not “stars”
- An additional 2 (3,200 ct. boxes) of parellels, like gold cards and other things that I would consider being semi-stars. Not that there isn’t value here, but I didn’t separate them into star boxes.

Shipping will likely be huge...in the hundreds, maybe over a thousand, so a pick up might need to happen here in Ohio.

I have a lot more than this, but thought I'd start with this because someone else in Net54 inquired about it, so I had already started the process. Let me know!

What is pictured is only a VERY small portion of the collection. I would exercise the possibility of trading as well.

Some people have been asking about portions of the collection, and I have been selling some of the players.

Just ask...you never know!!

How much are you wanting for everything? I'm not near Ohio but it could be a fun road trip. LOL

Friendly bump. Jimmy, I can only imagine how many days/weeks you spent organizing this many cards. I'd guess that at $5,500 you'd be making less than minimum wage for your time

Good luck on the sale !!

Thanks for the bump, Scott! Yes.....a VERY long time indeed! I'm entertaining offers, too. I would LOVE TO SELL THESE so I don't have to sell some of my other stuff. Anyone?
