How strange to see this post...today I was researching the 1886 Western League Lincoln team and midway through the season the Oshkosh manager W.R. Harrington replaced Lincoln's manager and along with him came 5 players that were on the Oshkosh roster. Apparently Oshkosh really benefited from this move as that 1887 team looked pretty formidable.

Chris sent me the scans and I had to reduce them quite a bit to fit. Both cards definitely look legit....(the other back is blank so I didn't post it)...Remember these are resized so exact dimensions need to be obtained from the seller....They are NOT in proportion to each other, size-wise....I think they might both be similar in size?

Wow! Those are great....interesting to me that half of the 1886 Oshkosh team ended up in Lincoln before the end of the season and nearly half of the 1887 Oshkosh team ended up in Omaha in 1888.

It'd be good to have those for the "Dummy" Hoy biography. But I'm too late, and will therefore have to settle for scans. Whoever buys 'em, do let me know!

The two cards are still available. The seller has set a final price of $10,200 for the pair, payment via wire transfer.

Please let me know if you are interested. If the cards do not sell on the forum, they will be available at the next REA.

Thanks,
Chris
