Default Picture Date

I'm looking for an approximate year when this pic would have been taken.

I would say 1910-20...somewhere in there.

Minneapolis?

Since the pic is coming out of Texas it's probably not Minneapolis, probably just a town team but possibly a lonnnnnng shot of being a Stockton, CA Millers pic.

Even if it comes out of Texas I wouldn't dismiss it as being a Minneapolis photo...Minor leaguers moved all over the country. Believe it or not at least half of my collection of Lincoln minor league items comes from somewhere else besides Nebraska.

I'd have Stew look at it if I were you.

I just received the pic today, kind of in rough condition but it's still pretty neat, it measures 10 x 19.75 inches. Not sure if it was from some type of all star game as there appear to be about five teams represented judging from the players caps. The lettering on the caps are A, M, H and the rest blank. Not sure if these are minor league teams, I have found three Millers teams; Minneapolis, Stockton and the Great Bend Millers representing the Kansas State League.

I'd guess 1910s. Stirrups were introduced into baseball fashion in the early/mid 1910s, so it wouldn't be earlier.
