Default Is there a baseball card, post card or supplement

Of Pitcher Carman Hill who played for the 1915-19, 22 NY NL and 1926-29 PIT NL, while he was active? Perhaps a team photo card of the 1922 World Champ Giants? I am aware of his 1993 Conlon. Just wanted to check before making my own.

Carmen Hill was pictured on two items while playing.

Hill, Carmen P. (Bunker)
• 1927 Baseball Mag Prem
• 1932 Wheaties Minneapolis Millers

I am also pretty sure he was made on one of those generic MLB Die-Cuts as well, but doesn't actually picture Carmen.

Hope this helps

Default The Battles of Bunker Hill

Back in the early- mid-1980s, SCD columnist Paul Green, who did a ton of player interviews of old timers, did a really long interview with Carmen Hill. As a lark (back when SCD was making money hand over fist), we produced a monograph titled "The Battles of Bunker Hill." It was probably 24 or 32 pages in about 5x7 format. We had half a dozen of Hill's personal photos in the booklet.

We sold about six copies, gave Carmen all he wanted to the day he died, and eventually scrapped the rest of the 1,000 (IIRC) print run.

I don't even think I've seen my personal copy in 10-20 years.

There were a lot of great stories in the little autobiography.
