First of all, wow.

Secondly, I sent them an email maybe 20 minutes ago pointing out that the year given for a couple of Obaks was incorrect and they've already made the correction. Top notch.

anthony i'm getting outbid notice emails popping up left and right...at least i can pretend they're important work emails!

rob is really making a mockery of the pop report...he seemingly has multiples of every drool-inducing cards in the hobby.

One of my favorite pastimes is to bid on T206 Wagners early and take a screen shot that says I am the high bidder!

Default Can not wait for the catalog

Glad Rob realizes the value of making sure everyone who wants a catalog can get it (Examples to the contrary Bill Goodwin, SCP, Heritage, etc)

Goodwin gives out free catalogs as far as I know... now, Hunt and Heritage do indeed charge for theirs, which I can't say I understand; the one time I got Heritage to ship me a comped catalog, I bought a $6k card that I didn't see when browsing their web site and only saw in the catalog.

As a possible consignor in the future, I'm glad Rob realizes the value of not banning aggressive bidders who always pay within a day or two after the auction ends (Examples to the contrary ... oh, never mind.)

That California League card is crazy. $100,000 opening bid? Any guesses on what it sells for? More than the Wagner?

I think it's pretty amusing that the Wagner doesn't even have the highest opening bid among baseball cards.

I just spent about 1 hour glancing and have over $80K in cards in the watchlist. Man the wife is going to be pissed when she sees all what I bid on.

Scott I agree I looked at the t207's and they are some of the best I have ever seen in one area at a time. A magnificent auction to say the least.

I love the T210 Stengel but why did PSA label it "Stengal" when his name is clearly spelled Stengel on the front of the card ? I was wondering --would PSA correct the label?

I have seen and owned a few T206 miscuts in my day... but that one takes the cake! What a strange card.

Default Plank

The PSA authentic Plank, with the Sweet Caporal 150 back is one of the nicest Plank's I have ever seen.

It never fails, whenever a nice looking T204 Plank or Mordecai Brown come up for auction, they are always part of the whole set, which I won't be able to afford.

That Plank is mine....I didn't plan on flipping it so quickly, but I can't resist Rob Lifson's charm. Our arrangement is too good to pass up!

Matt; I KNOW Bill for many many years; we have a lot of mutual friends; and for whatever reason I've never been on his mailing list. And yet; he's one of the nicest people in person I've ever met in the hobby. Couple of years ago; I ended up setting up at the National next to him; and because of the very short notice; he locked up all the "valuable cards" I had at the table each night. And made sure everytning was perfect. Nice man; just can't get the freakin catalogs

Rich

Edited to say -- Bill PM'd me this morning and promised I would be receiving all his catalogs in the future

The best part about the card is it has no name or other part of a card on it. Could be a very neat single.
