Default Can someone help me identify this Hall of Fame Set?

I just came across this set of mini cards. They are glossy and have 70 cards. The box looks old, and the back has a space for a mailing address and "place 6 cent stamp here". I think they are Callahan. The cards are GORGEOUS and the gloss is confusing me as to whether they are reprints.
Anyone ever seen these or know any details? Do the Callahans have a gloss to them?
Thanks

Looks like the 1950-56 Callahan Hall of Fame set. As a check, these cards measure 1 3/4 by 2 1/2.

Here is another thread about the set. Depending on what cards you have they can go for good money.
