Default Gouday Help NO TYPO

Hi Guys, I stumbled on this auction earlier today, be it that I'm no spelling bee champ or my fat fingers typing (It's listed as Gouday) Either way does this look real. I don't think so, but I have only 12 cards in my possession, of which only one is raw. So I just don't know. I think it is probably to good to be true.... Any help. Thx

I don't have an answer to your question, but I do find the auction a bit funny. It says, "1933 Gouday" in the title, but "1932 Goudey" in the description. At least he got the year and brand right once

At first glanced, it looked good (what was I thinking????) but after further review and a little bit of coffee, I would have to say complete "reprint."

His pinky finger is cropped and I don't like the heavy creasing and even the tiny bend in the upper left corner. The Goudey card stock is like the Energizer bunny.........it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Lovely day...

Default Percentage of Authenticity???

He's thinking about sending it in to see if it's 100% authentic. I'm thinking the card is 17% authentic.

He buys aged reprints, so I think we have the answer:

Zach, his is the safest scam on ebay: you advertise an item as something less than what it is, sell it with a return guarantee, then hope at least one buyer every now and then doesn't return it. Everyone thinks you are honest and you can repeat the scam forever.

Notice on the back between "Goudey Gum Co." and "Boston" there is a circular spot of heavy wear.

I'd bet the word "Reprint" was there beforehand.

Indeed and the worst part about that is, is that he probably will not refund the shipping costs to whomever returns it.
