Leon, look at it this way, your age is the same as weeks in a year and cards in a deck.

This topic has been discussed a million times...39 here.

Remember when you were a kid & someone would say "Are you really 9 yrs old now?" and you'd get all excited & say "NO, I'm 9 and a HALF"!!

Well, I'm 73--and a HALF now, but somehow I can't quite get as excited anymore!

Sadly, I only fall into one of the age categories, 55.

But I'm proudly living inside the Dakotas-Ohio region!

Of an age where as Tennyson wrote, "Though much is taken, much abides."

I have chatted a few times with 10 year old at the White Plains show. He collects NY Giant T206 with Piedmont 350 backs. Saw him yesterday he bought a nice Matty dark cap. He told me he reads this board.

Default I'm 68 and counting

I'm 68 years young. But when I look at my cards and see all my childhood heros I feel like I'm 12 years old again. Flipping cards against the school at lunchtime. Cards in the spokes of my bike and all those rubber bands to keep them together. So much fun. Laying in my bed at night with stacks of 52's and 53's sailing them up over my closet door to see if I could make them lean on the door frame. They were much larger than "regular" cards so I didn't care if Yogi, Mickey and The Duke got rounder corners. But always protected my Red Sox Jackie jenson, Ted Lepcio and Mel Parnell's to mention a few. Who says you can't go back again... Happy collecting to you all...Jim

Maybe members could put their ages in their signature lines, right below their lists of trusted sellers. It would be nice to see ages displayed in years-months-days, with updates made daily.
