Default E210 Help - Type I or II ??

Only ever owned one so ...
This one appears to have some "shineyness" on the front when tilted in the light but not on the back.
Is that normal for either/or or (heaven forbid), neither?
Any thoughts appreciated.

Default Digdug

Hey digdugdig remember me?

I am an authority on E210-2, I'm the leading expert in my house on the subject, at least when I am home alone.

The easiest and truest way to tell type 1 from type 2 is the back orientation.
If you turn the card over while the name is on the bottom, you will see the players name and the York ads either beginning on the right side or the left side.
If it is on the left, you 100% have a Type2.
Glossy, no glossy...too tough to tell sometimes.
The orientation is 100% accurate.
The other ways to tell...some players are only available in either type one or type two...for example Walter Johnson, you are Type 1, Lou Gehrig then type2.

Type 2 are significantly harder to find, (they were printed in 1928 btw)

Write me if you get a chance, same ol email address...
