Default Anyone doing a group sub to PSA?

Hi all - I've never sent cards to PSA for grading but have about a dozen I'd like to send. I know folks here sometimes organize group subs. Anyone know of one taking place in the near future? Thanks!

Some are a bit more. Here are the cards I currently have that I'd like to submit.

I'd say the Jackie, Greenberg, and '56 Koufax are probably over the $199 threshold.

Yeah, I figure those three and the Ruth will have to go the next level (under $499).

How do they determine value if the card hasn't been graded yet? Obviously, if you submit a T206 Cobb, it's going to be worth more than a few hundred but with many other cards, it could be worth $200 if graded a 4 and $400 if graded a 6 and you won't know until it's graded.

You have to be REALISTIC about what they will grade at. You always have to keep in mind the value you place on the cards is what you will be reimbursed should PSA lose your cards. I'm speaking as someone who PSA has lost our order. It could happen.

Thank you and good to know. Because some cards will need to be submitted at the slightly higher level am I better off just doing this on my own as opposed to a group sub?

Keep in mind they will not let anyone overstate value at the time of an insurance claim either. So, most raw cards will never prove the value you've actually claimed. If you ask PSA this directly, you will get the same unfortunate answers...

I suggest sending it all in and let them tell you if there are any upgrades. Don't assume there will be one so much that you pay them a higher fee in advance of them declaring it a higher grade. They hope that we all submit with greed in mind, which equates to exposing their greed--because they are siphoning more money by being vauge.

You are correct as well....you can't claim a $50 card is worth $999. My suggestion is BE REALISTIC WITH THE GRADE, and BE REALISTIC WITH THE VALUE.

Makes sense. So, does anyone know if a Net54 member is preparing a group sub? A friend of mine gave me two more cards and I have two-three ticket stubs to submit.

I do subs but I dont have any planned anytime soon. I also have a stub, but I am waiting for a decent special.
