Hey all, I was wanting to know if anyone could recomend good books on pre-war baseball. I am interested in researching Roger Bresnahan specifically but would be interested in any board recomended books no matter the topic. Thanks! Eric |

I just finished reading Frank Deford's book --The Old Ball Game --How John McGraw,Christy Mathewson, and the New York Giants Created Modern Baseball. In addition to being a great read there are some wonderful photographs. Lots of references to players of the period. |
