I was just perusing the mastro auction to see how skydash was doing and happened on this e90-1 Young. Is it me or does this card NOT look ex-mt to anyone else.

they took into account the corners for the high grade but looks more like a 5 to me.

I believe those white spots are not on the card itself. Therre are places both on the front adn back scans where you can clearly see the spots over areas of the slab.

I think it costs $5 to get a new holder. If it really isn't on the card, then the consignor or Mastro dropped the ball on this one.

why doesn't someone just call Jim or Brian at Mastro's (they are very helpful), they can actually grab the card and check it, to see if the spots/scracthes, etc. are on the card or the slab...

I was looking over the "Tin Tops" as well today - this Cy Young card also appears to be miscut top to bottom. If the spots are on the holder, they could create a new picture or at least let bidders know more

notice on that front scan, the white flecks to the bottom left of the card. That's what causes me to think it's not the card.
