Default 1980s Baseball Simulation Game

In the 1980s, I played a baseball simulation game with my brothers in which we used our baseball cards (not cards provided by the game), a dice, and a spreadsheet provided by the game. Depending upon the roll of the dice and the player's stats (I believe it was HRs and BA), the spreadsheet would tell you whether it was a single, double, triple, homerun, walk, flyout, strikeout, or groundout. My sons have gotten into sports cards and are interested in simulating a game with them. I have been searching for years. Could you please help me find this game?

Our best guess: Baseball Card All-Star Game (1987, CapToys).

Had to be it. There have been only a handful of games designed to be played using standard baseball cards,
and pretty much all the others were made in the 1990s or 2000s.
Glad we could be of help. Baseball Card All-Star Game turns up not infrequently on eBay and goes pretty cheaply.

Now, I am curious. What are the other games designed to be played using standard baseball cards, and are there similar games designed to be played with football cards?
