Default Favorite Aaron card?

Looking to add to my "significant Hall of Famers" collection, and am wondering which Aaron to pick up. I have a '58 Topps WS Batting Foes, but would like to have a card featuring Aaron alone.

Ideally, I'd be spending up to $200 on something in the SGC80/PSA6 range, which obviously rules out the rookie. Leaning toward '55 Topps at the moment, but would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks!

Default Aaron

My favorite Aaron is the 1959 Bazooka followed by the '54 Johnston Cookies. Sorry, I misread your post. In that range pricewise I would think you could pick up a '55. It is a beautiful card. I like it better than the '56 and the photo is reversed on the '57 I believe.

55T great choice - also like the 56T, 57T and maybe(???) get 7-nm for the $200 range.

but you should be able to get a 55T graded 6 for $200.

You know, the '56 and '57 Topps Aarons have always bothered me. My beef with the '56 is that it's Willie Mays in the action shot. And on the '57, the photo is reversed, making Hank a leftie. He has to be the most disrespected superstar, card-wise, in history.

Default great question...

I think the 55 is a great choice, and being a lefty, I am very partial to his 57 offering.
Other than those two, and the 54 rookie, I am very fond of the 1962 and 1963 in PSA7, which should be available for under $200, I would think.

I'm not up on where it would be price wise in different grades...but my favorite Aaron card(besides the Rookie) is this one!

I don't think you could go wrong with the 1955 Topps. I think that's one of his nicest looking cards.
