I know that the Drum and BL460 Red Portraits are much rarer (probably a couple more as well), but this is my all-time dream card that I will never own.

1949 Bowman Satchell Paige. A must for any serious Tribe collector who has $3K+ to spend on a baseball card. I'll buy Leroy's card one of these days....

Attainable, though I would prefer to trade into it than buy it. The unattainable is always a T206 Wagner.

Me too, had a contact at a card shoe in the 90’s. He said he had this card, gave me his phone #, called many times, never answered. Deal never happened. Lol. Never saw him again. Joe. PS, I could have afforded it then, not now.

No doubt (among PreWar cards) this one. It's a card I doubt I'll ever own. But I can hope anyway.

1915-cracker-jack-19-chief-bender-22994.jpg

My post war most wanted is much more attainable, Billy Pierce's '59 Bazooka card. I've come close on a few in the past. Now with a brand new grandbaby (our first with a second to come in October) I have a hard time justifying money for big ticket cards that should go to spoiling grandchildren!

I have the same regret about the 51B Mantle. But I'd have to say the 14 CJ Mathewson.

T206: Johnson

Pre-war: B18 felt Cobb

Post-war: Connie Mack AS Tris Speaker

Modern: 2004 Topps Signs of the Future auto Joey Votto

I have been in love with the B18 felts since I was a boy. I bought two in high school at an antique shop. The Cobb felt would just be a stunning addition to have in my cabinet. I think they present so cool as a diamond.

Mine would be a PC760 Rose Co. postcard of Tris Speaker. Beckett added it to their checklist in 1982, but I do not know anyone who has ever seen an image of it.

Jim Beckett was pretty meticulous about doing research at that time, so I am still holding out hope and think that there is a chance that the card exists.

If it does exist, it would be part of the "no team" additions that were done after their original 1908 set which consisted of 12 players for each of the 16 teams. All 12 Red Sox players are already known to exist, but the Rose Co. did update their set in late 1908 or 1909 with a few new subjects, so Speaker theoretically could exist.
