Default Sweet Cap (Fac. 30) set-No Wagner, Magie, Doyle & St Lo vars.

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis

Many T206 collectors become frustrated when they cannot fully complete their T206 set since the "Big Six" cards are un-
attainable. I fully completed an all-Sovereign set, simply because I knew in advance that I didn't have to acquire the "Big
Six". Furthermore, I didn't have to "sweat" the 48 - Southern Leaguers, either.

Consider an all-Sweet Caporal, Factory 30 sub-set. This set is very predictable (as there are no "tricky" No Prints). By my
count you will need only 470 cards. The Big 5 Subjects, and Lundgren, do not exist with the Sweet Cap Factory 30 backs.

T206 Subjects not printed with Sweet Cap Fac 30 backs......

Honus Wagner (Pittsburg)
Ray Demmitt (St. Louis)
Joe Doyle (NY Nat'l)
Carl Lundgren (Cubs)
Sherry Magie (portrait)
Bill O'Hara (St. Louis)

Also, those pesky 48 - Southern Leaguers were not printed with any Sweet Caporal backs.

With these 7 stars (and 8 others) and approx. 80+ commons to start with, I am seriously considering collecting this set.
Sweet Cap/30 cards are very available....2nd only to the Piedmont (Fac. 25) cards,.

Beware, though....you will finally need this card with a Sweet Cap 350, Fac. 30 back.

OK....Net54er's, anyone out there willing to try this challenge ?
