Default Is this a proper 2nd Chance offer?

Posted By: Frank B

I was second best on a card this past week and today I get an e-mail stating -

**I have sent you a second chance offer through eBay earlier, for one of my items (xxxxxxxxxx).. I issued this second chance offer because the winning bidder was unable to complete the transaction, due to security reasons. You are now able to buy this item for your highest bid price . If you are interested, please let me know, because the transaction will be handled by eBay. All you have to do is to send me your complete name and address, and eBay will contact you with further details .
Please reply directly to my e-mail address ( xxxxxxxxx ) , this way I will be able to respond faster.**

The part I am leery of is the request to email directly to the seller my name and address.
That coupled with the fact that when I click on the 2nd Chance offer link in my EBay account
It results in:

*This listing (xxxxxxxxxxx) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered
the right item number.*

Is something out of the ordinary with this?
