Default A BIG shout-out to great Net54ers

I had to let everyone know how great people on this board are- Jeremy W and Tim K, knowing my search for my white whale, both emailed me to let me know about a red background Lajoie E98 on ebay. I don't know why it didn't pop up in the regular pre-war section but I was able to snare it for the beginning bid of $349.99. The important thing was not getting a great deal, it was the kindness of two fellow collectors. I held my breath until the card got here because the scan showed the background color as purplish-red but not the bright red it should have been and he mentioned the card as in a "set of 20" instead of 30 which it has and finally no back scan and the seller told me he couldn't put one up due to camera problems. Red flags everywhere. I took a shot and opened it up and it is real. Whew!!!
