During the late 80s when I first began collecting cards, my old man bought me a Topps binder that had facsimiles of a bunch of famous cards on the cover. Of all of them, I was most fascinated by the 56 Richie Ashburn. I thought it was the coolest card ever printed, and I actually ended up getting his biography from the library shortly after that. After all these years, I finally got the card, and I love it.
I also added a couple Yastrzemskis to the collection, including the glorious 73 Mutton Chop Yaz. Edit: I found a picture of that binder on the googlez. I wish I still had it. Last edited by profholt82; 05-29-2018 at 09:31 PM. Reason: Added a pic |
