Gilbert Mainesproblem or two, which I do not particularly care about. For example, I own a blank backed Ruth which has a front which is Ex+, but the back has some adhesive remnants.
This, I recognize, is not ideal to some. These individuals require their cards to be of consistent condition front and back. They do not require high grade cards, simply consistent conditioned cards. This typically means that the cards have no problems (such as stains, writing, paper loss, etc.).
I have some with good fronts only, and some with consistent condition. Those with consistent condition which are of the same grade as the good front only cards, do not look as nice. There is surface wear, corner rounding, and other aspects which one would associate with a circulated, undamaged item.
Which do you prefer?
