Which grading service to use for beaters?
I'm continuing to work on my low grade 33 Goudey collection (up to 38 cards now!), but some of the cards that I'm picking up are real beaters. For example, holes, damaged backs like they were glued to a scrapbook, writing, very worn corners almost the point of being round, etc. Which grading service (PSA, SGC, BVG) do you think is better for this situation? In a way, I'm leaning towards PSA because I think I prefer a grade of say PSA 2 MK to SGC Authentic. However, I really like the holders for SGC much more, and I'd prefer to build an SGC set registry rather than a mixed PSA/SGC one. Any one else who collects low grade have an opinion on this? Thanks!
