N172 Old judge ?
Posted By: Robert
Looking at the standard catalog they will list a player with multiple cards for example: Chicago NL and Chicago PL. Looking at a card I can't find a mark on determine which variation it is? Am I missing something? |

have PL written after the team name. It stands for Player's League - and they are pretty darn rare to find. Yours is the more common variety. |

The NL (national league) or PL (players league) designations were added to some of the 1890 cards. Not all 1890 cards have the NL or PL designation. |
