Default What's in Ruth's back pocket?

I just found that I have two similar Babe Ruth Photos. Were they taken at the same time? Seems a same size of box in his back pocket. Was it a cigarette? just wonder.

I don't know what's in his pocket, but I think Bain and Conlon were standing on either side of Burke taking photos at the same time.

Default I got the answer!

A friend sent me an email, he gave me an answer sounds good.
"Babe Ruth was a chewing tobacco user. He died of throat cancer. This is definitely a can of chewing tobacco in his back pocket."
Thank you everyone! My 1st auction finally begins. Hope you guys enjoy it!
