Ron Santo Autograph Value
Found this at the local card shop. Looking for opinions on value. Neither signature is certified but the dealer had Ron Santo at his local card show years ago for a signing. As always thanks for your opinions.

Not as easy a signature as people think. Not sure on the ball but card has to be $50+

There are plenty of vintage Santo cards sitting on ebay for less than 50.00. I would put the card at 40 and the ball at 70.

In an effort to.......
.......help my neighbor, in the Great State Of Iowa, Ron Santo had 2 Italian resturants in the Chicago area. One was in Park Ridge and the other in a 'burb that I've forgotten and sold autographed balls at each location. My memory (Faulty) tells me that the auto'd balls were $20.00 t0 $25.00. I believe they were all signed by Mr. Santo. The ink on the ones I bought did not stand the test of time,,,even while being protected from UV A&B rays. Anyway...I think a lot of those balls were sold in those venues. And then the shows...so the point I try to make is this great and beloved players auto should be available at competitive pricing. I hope this helps.
Sincerely, Dennis |
