Not sure what you're asking.
Are you asking why people say "For Sell" rather than "For Sale"? You can blame that on our wonderful education system in this country. |

I run a lot of classified advertising and my website gets a lot of hits every day.
Some of the responses I get are appallingly written. Not typos. The poor use of the English language and the spelling are sad comments on the educational system.

The most common error I see is the misuse of "its" and "it's". Nearly everyone gets it wrong.
I've even seen its' used on occasion, which isn't even in the English language. Not sure why this causes so many problems. |

I think your vs you're is the most common issue I see on a regular basis, with there, their, or they're a close second.
