I wasn't aware. I view every forum as having different members. I don't know where I might find the best answers to my question.
Agree 1000%. Post where you want to seek varying viewpoint. Not sure how some feel they are they can criticize your well meaning activity.

For the record, I authorize you to post the "same question" on 100 different forums.

That's weird. Shows 90 replies but there's only one page with 13.

Its not always about him receiving an answer. There are people here who don't post on Blowout or other forums and might want to learn something too. I didn't know that 85 Tiffanys yellowed so easily and I appreciate possibly learning why.

Some people say it is sunlight.

A moderator over at Blowout replied to my thread.

This is what he said which makes sense. He does not believe it is sunlight. It is possible being encased causes some sort of reaction.

Apparently keeping them in the box somehow prevents the discoloration. Someone is selling a 1985 Tiffany Traded set that has remained in the box for the most part. They are lily-white.

I have 1983 and 1984 traded sets that show similar discoloration. Cards are otherwise immaculate. Do you suppose it id for the same reason?

My guess is due to where they were stored. Was it in a climate controlled area? Even so the temperature setting could have been an issue.

Since it is the gloss seeping onto the cardboard my guess is that the temperature has something to do with it.

Those cards in my previous picture look like the same as they probably did in 1985.

I am not certain as they were in this condition when I got them. It is not easily seen at first glance but against the "NM/MT" base set in the binder you can see the difference. It is definitely not bad enough for me worry about replacing the set.
