Why is there no talk or card posting of Joe DiMaggio?
I would agree that Joe D has slipped a bit in popularity from when I first learned about baseball in the 1980s. Based on what I heard of him as a kid, I would have probably told you he was one of the top 5 players ever, or something like that. I wonder how much of that was due to his insistence on being introduced as the greatest living ball player anytime he did anything public?
