Tommy Lee Jones - Name your favorite
Tommy has made many great movies and I have several favorites, but one of my favorites didn't get a lot of press, etc., but is a hidden gem. That movie is - Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. It also starred Barry Pepper (he played Roger Maris in 61) and Dwight Yokum (Besides being a fantastic Country artist, he also is a pretty damn good actor - think "Sling Blade").
Are there any other hidden gems out there I'm not aware of? What's your favorite? |

No Country For Old Men is, for whatever crazy reason, one of my all-time favorites. Tommy didn't have a big part, but was awesome. Javier Bardem plays the best psychopath since Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

No doubt about that one James. Another of my favorites, although a little obscure is the 1985 movie; The Park is Mine. If you haven't seen this old one, its worth the time. A Viet Nam veteran takes over Central Park in New York to bring attention to the plight of Viet Nam veterans. A very good movie.

I would have to go with The Fugitive. He was outstanding in that film.
Edit to add I really liked him in No Country For Old Men. That visit with he and Barry Corbin was phenomenal. Last edited by stlcardsfan; 01-16-2024 at 03:31 PM. |

Tough one.
"Under Seige" as William Stranix or "Natural Born Killers" as Warden Dwight McCluskey |

No Country For Old Men is one of my personal favorites. I also enjoyed him in JFK and Space Cowboys.
In a more recent role, I loved him in The Burial, with Jaime Foxx. Very entertaining.

He`s in a movie where he plays Gary Gilmore, not sure of title but recall it being pretty interesting.

I can tell you it sure as hell wasn't Cobb.
That said, I did like him in Lincoln and No Country For Old Men.
