Here are two photo of 16 year old Edd Roush playing with the Oakland City, Indiana Walk Overs. The first is a real photo PC that is also featured in the book "The Glory of Their Times". In the cabinet photo, Roush is in the center of the top row.

Wow, incredible score Greg!

I went to an auction today and picked up 9 bats of Lincoln Chiefs players that a lady when she was a young gal picked up...she would go down to the dugout whenever a player broke a bat and ask for the bat. Also snagged a nice Goldsmith catcher's mask that I'll probably put up for sale.

Mark --

I found the photos on ebay with no reference to them being of Roush.

Dan -- love those bats, that's a very cool instant collection. I saw you made another post about cleaning them. Some people would tell you to leave them as is, but I think they'd look good cleaned up. Murphy's does work well, but I think Matt (mghpro) is more of an expert than I am.

Thanks Greg...they definitely need a good cleaning, they are dusty, cobwebby and even had some spider eggsacs on them...I think she probably stored them in a garage.
