Harrisonburg Collector Completes T206 set (INCLUDING Wagner)
Hot of the press, Norman B. Good completes the monster!
All 552 cards. Nicely displayed too (although the pic shows T204's and T212's(?) in the background). Pure speculation on my part, but he probably overpaid for the T206 Wagner and Plank cards. Oh well, I guess some things never change. I might have imagined this, but I could have sworn I've seen some T206 back stamps with the name "Norman B. Goode"??? Lovely Day... |

I like 'em big, but...
those are some HUGE borders on the Wagner and Plank cards!
must be factory proofs or something

It mentions baseball cards with Hustler backs. Is this the origin, or an extension of the myth?

I think I've seen a back stamp with Goode on it as well. Or maybe we shared the same dream?

No mention of Old Mill, but mention of Red Sun .............. so I guess the framed cards on wall are T211's ...... if so, not bad

I'm curious about the 552 card set he completed. What set has that many cards? Did he find some T206's we don't know about?

It's possible all of this collection is still in the family. His son just away recently passed away and Norman lived until 1996.
I have an email off to a person that may know more about the man and his collection. |

Norman Good's Collection Sold!
Norman Good sold his collection - including his Wagner! - to Charles Bray about 50 years ago.
