Well. No matter what the seller thinks he's not going to get anyone else to believe that this is Ty Cobb. The item will not sell and he will be stuck with both un sold seller fees. A lesson he will soon learn. Plus even if it was Cobb it could be a photo copy of a photo done yesterday. These pieces sell for $4.99 if they sell at all. Sounds like a young kid with his spelling and replies. "I'm from a family of 11. " I think his family is just trying to pacify him and his business venture.

I think it's pretty well documented that the seller is mentally challenged and thats where it stands at this point. Personally I take no fun in teasing retards .... but when they swear their allegiance to stupidity after being proved wrong? ...... it's open season.

Here's The Poor Guys Favorite Song. He can cuddle his Bangles signed football all he wants.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwajTekSAcM

"close your eyes...It's a Ty Cobbs, Darling".....Do you understand... "Am I Only Dreaming"?

Poor dummy should light that ty cobbs photo with an eternal flame and BTW, she is still smoking hot!!!!! I usually only have eyes for the 25-35 now that I'm over 50. usually 54 is way way past the expiration date...... but for her, I'd have to make an exception

Totally unnecessary comment. I have been a Bengals fan all my life! The Bangles football does sound fascinating though perhaps a Walk Like an Egyptian touchdown dance would be in order every time you picked it up.

"My Mom Is Convinced That This Is Honus Wagner Witch Would Have been Been 13 Years Older Than COBB ."

Is he subliminally trying to tell us that his mom is a witch?? .

Here is what somebody asked him in the Q&A
" Almon, some of these people are pulling your leg. I think they are just jealous. To me, this clearly looks like the 1902 Detroit Tigers - it is rumored that Ty Cobb was their bat boy, and they liked his pleasant personality so much that they put him on the team a few years later. Unfortunately, Honus Wanger isn't on that team, but there are plenty of other star players that are easy to identify: I can see Kid Elberfeld, Deacon McGuire, Kid Gleason and Erve Beck. No one has mentioned this, but reprints like this are of much higher quality than the originals, so if the original is destroyed, the reprint is worth about three times as much! I think you should send this to a major auction house such as Legendary or Heritage to get the most money. Good Luck!"

Right...I never would have sent the message I did if this guy was open at all to accepting the fact that there are no major leaguers in that photo. The fact that nothing is going to change his mind, and no one in their right mind is going to be swayed to bid on this just because of my note is why I sent it.

I think that is why it is so funny. People tell him that the photos are NOT of people he claims it is. Yet just one note from another person saying there is an extra person and he rides that claim all the way. So he only listen to what he wants to hear...

Did you see the part where his MOTHER posts her opinion?

If we asked for a photo of her, I bet it would be a back view of her sitting in a rocking chair.

Hi I'm just another person with my comments. I Am The Mother

At the age of 14 Cobb did play in Georgia for Royston Rompers. At 17 for the Augusta tourists of the South atlantic league also for Anniston Steelers,Which was semi pro Tenn.Alabama League before He played for Detroit Tigers in 1905

I sent him a message DAYS ago .... towards the beginning of this thread and just now got a response.

I said:

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news. but that is NOT Ty Cobb. I see that you have gotten more than a few messages stating the same. It is very unethical of you to state that it is in fact Ty Cobb. You might as well say that the other folks in the picture are Abe Lincoln and Marilyn Monroe.
I'm sorry man .... it's just NOT Ty Cobb.

He just replied:

If You Look At The Listing Title It Does Say Possibly TY COBB
Thank You For Your Concern

Is this seller Nun Wagner Andrew? Hanging on to a hope and a prayer?

You referencing the photo of Andrew holding the photo? Yes it is photoshop. I made it it is in reference to all the Andrew Clinton posts going on on the board's main page.

Not to be all sour-grapey on a funny comment, but I was going to post the same thing @ 5PM but had a dinner appointment.

Maybe it's because it's the end of happy hour and I have been here since the beginning, purchasing appropriately, but this made me laugh - thanks

Scott <== still at happy hour

I Will Let You All Do Some Research And See If You Can Figure Out Who These Men Could Be . And I No It Just Isnt Any body Look At There faces Closely They All Seem to be recognizable "

"Like I Said Study There Photos And See Who You Might Think These Men Could Be . There Not Just Anybody's That is For Sure . Look At The Third Guy On Top Row He has A Star On His Belt Buckle and a star on the wheel hub on the bicycle. maybe this means all star what do you think ?"

OMG!! I knew there was a reason for those stars. How could I have possibly missed that?

I wish I could have had a star on my bicycle as a kid
